Rollover Crash Leaves Man With Serious Head Injury
Man is medflighted to Boston after rollover crash.

A man was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital by helicopter early Sunday morning after flipping his car on West Shore Drive in the area of Pitman Road.
William Cotton, 49, of Kenneth Road, Marblehead, was traveling from Green Street, police said, when he flipped his car over due to speeding and reckless driving, according to police.Â
Lt. Jonathan Lunt  said the accident occurred at 12:27 a.m. Sunday and Medflight was called to land at the Veterans Middle School.

"He had pretty serious head injuries but was conscious at the time," Lunt said. "He is still at Beth Israel today."
Cotton has been charged with speeding and reckless operation of a vehicle. Lunt said the investigation is ongoing.Â
