Salzer Hired As Business Manager

Offered the job only to have his contract rescinded, Brian Salzer has officially been hired by the Marblehead School Committee.

The committee voted to approve a two-year contract with Salzer for the position of business manager, the board said in a press release today.

Salzer's contract calls for him to be paid $111,000 in the first year, with the second year's salary to be determined.

The contact is for $8,000 more than what was allocated for the position but not as much as the $125,000 originally offered.
