Scenes From Monday Afternoon Storm

A fast-moving storm blew through the area Monday afternoon and drove people off the beach. No major problems were reported.

A storm blew in mid-day bringing another soaking of rain and loud thunder and lighting along the coast.

The good news is, the storm didn't last long before the sun came back out.

Beach goers took shelter under the roof at Devereux Beach or ran to their cars until the rain let up. Those who did sit the storm out got a fantastic view of lightening on the water.
