Ski Team Takes State Title For Third Year
For the third year in a row, the ski team captured the state title.

The girls Marblehead Ski Team won the state championship for the third year in a row.
It was a close call though, as the team held on to first by three points at first and then Hayley Braun and Maika Phillips captured 3rd and 5th in slalom to seal the deal.

Only the top 3 racers could score for each team. The first run was GS
and scoring for Marblehead were:
2nd Maggie Corbett (50.03) 135 points
3rd Hayley Braun (50.28) 134 points
25th Maika Phillips (52.31) 109 points
Slalom
3rd Haley Braun (33.57) 134 points
5th Maika Phillips (34.01) 132 ponits
22nd Maggie Corbett (35.70) 112 points
This is the 3rd year in a row for the girls. Maika Phillips, Maggie Corbett and Hayley Braun finished top three in the league and were also the top three racers earning points for Marblehead. The team earned 760 total points.
