Stop And Smell The Roses

It's freezing cold this week and feels like spring may never arrive but don't give up yet.

Each week, Marblehead Patch offers a 'Great Escape' for moms looking for a little R&R time. The Great Escape can be a salon or spa trip, boutique shopping or a fabulous restaurant. This week it's a trip to some of our local flower shops.

While snow is still covering the ground, take a trip to some local florist shops to smell the roses and other flowers. Another perk? Flower shops are usually pretty warm to keep the flowers happy.

The first stop is the along Pleasant Street. Bright colored flowers cover the store with whimsical statues hidden throughout.

Next, head to on Washington Street where staff will help you create any arrangement you may need. 

Then, go to Atlantic Avenue where you can duck into and and take in the sights and smells of spring and summer deep in February.
