The Marblehead Museum and Jeremiah Lee Mansion continues its Thursday evening after hours program this week that is designed to encourage downtown foot traffic.

The Museum has joining with neighboring Marblehead retailers, galleries and non-profits with its after hours program in July and August.

The exhibits, J.O.J Frost Folk Art Gallery and museum gift shop are open for free at 170 Washington St. and the first floor of the mansion will be open free of charge from 5-7 p.m.

Wine, pretzels and M&Ms will be available in the mansion front dooryard.

“Drop by and socialize on the gracious Lee Mansion portico and stone steps or take a unique peek at the grand hall during the evening hours,” the museum said in an announcement of the program. “If you haven’t made the time to visit in the past because of work on weekdays or Saturday commitments here is your chance.”
