Washington Street Hardest Hit By Flooding
Saturday's fast-moving storm meant flooded basements for Washington Street businesses.
Torrential downpours that doused the area late Saturday meant the Fire Department was working to pump out flooded basements.
Fire trucks could be seen concentrated on Washington Street in front of Old North Church and Pellino's Restaurant. Large puddles were spotted around town as well.
Pellino's lower level was flooded in the storm, but the problem was quickly taken care of and they remained open for Saturday night dinner.
