2 Marlborough Men Arrested With Cocaine, THC Extract: MSP

Police said two 21-year-olds were pulled over on Route 2 driving some 35 miles per hour over the speed limit.

TEMPLETON, MA — Two Marlborough men who were pulled over for going 35 miles per hour over the speed limit on Route 2 were arrested for having cocaine and THC extract in the car, according State Police.

A trooper pulled over a black Infiniti police said was driving nearly 90 mph in a 55 near Exit 19. A search of the vehicle yielded two bags with 52 grams of what is believed to be crack cocaine, 74 vials of THC extract and $1,900.

Police arrested the passenger, 21-year-old Santos Macario, who had a warrant, and the driver, 21-year-old Jeovonne Maldonado.

Both men were charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of a class c drug with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug law. Maldonado was also charged with speeding.
