Marlborough Police Held Nab Thieves Who Backed Car Into Smoke Shop

The three teenagers — all under age 18 — backed a car into the Route 85 business, police said.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Three teenagers from the Boston area were arrested over the weekend after backing a car into a Route 85 smoke shop in a burglary attempt, according to Hudson police.

Hudson police responded to the DAB Smoke Shop near 3:30 a.m. Saturday for a burglary alarm. They found the front of the store smashed, apparently from a car being backed into it.

The burglars were gone when officers arrived, but Hudson police were able to send a description of the vehicle to other police departments in the area. That led to a Marlborough officer and a state trooper pulling the car over and arresting the three juveniles inside.
