3 Candidates Withdraw From Marlborough 2023 Election
The withdrawals mean no preliminary in one city council race, and one less mayoral candidate.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough's 2023 election got slightly smaller last week.
Marlborough City Clerk Steve Kerrigan reported that one mayoral and two city council candidates withdrew from the race by the deadline on Thursday afternoon. Mayoral candidate Paul Ferro withdrew, as did Ward 6 candidates Michael Cabral and Thomas Osborn.
The withdrawals mean a smaller mayoral field, and no preliminary in the Ward 6 City Council race.
