5 Things: Diabetes and Black Friday

2. The School Committee begins their search for a permanent superintendent tonight. They previously chose a company to conduct the search and will hear a presentation about the process tonight.

3. Thanksgiving is nearly upon us. Of possibly equal importance, the Black Friday hours of many retailers have been announced. We had information about Walmart's hours yesterday and the news about the Solomon Pond Mall for you today.

4. The Finance Subcommittee of the City Council will be discussing Quest Diagnostics tonight. Quest is one of the latest companies to announce a move to Marlborough. Last Thursday, Boston Scientific announced it would move its headquarters from Natick to Marlborough.

5. City Officials have declared November 14 as World Diabetes Day in the City of Marlborough in support of the United Nations Resolution that highlights the importance of fighting this disease.
