4. The is asking residents to support their "No Show Ball" by not attending. That's right. Go online and purchase your "virtual tickets" for $5 to an event that will not be taking place. By doing this, all the proceeds will go towards the development of children in the MetroWest community and not towards an extravagant fundraising event. The event itself will "not" take place on April 1 – April Fool’s Day. Tickets can be purchased online. Be sure to forward to your friends, family and colleagues because the more “no shows,” the better!
5. All children living in Marlborough who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31, 2012, are eligible to enter kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year. There are no exceptions regarding entrance age requirements. Families should register at the school the children will attend. Day 1 on the schedule is for students with last names that begin with A-L, and Day 2 is for students whose last names begin with M-Z. If families are unable to attend on the specified date, they can attend the alternate registration date for the appropriate school.
