A state senate candidate recently received the endorsement of former governor Paul Cellucci, and there is a free jazz and blues concert at the Marlborough Public Library Wednesday night.
1. Mayor Arthur Vigeant met with local Girl Scouts Monday afternoon to mark the 100 year anniversary of the group. Vigeant handed out several certificates and awards, and the young Scouts reciprocated with cookies and a merit badge.

3. The blues and jazz concert will feature The Mike Williams Band with Michael Williams, guitarist, Rusty Scott, organist (Hammond B3 organ), Tim Mayer, tenor sax and Jim Gwin, drums. Admission to the concert is Free and open to the public.
5. The First United Methodist Church of Hudson (A Stephen Ministry Church) is celebrating St. Patricks Day, Saturday, March 17 with a corned beef and cabbage dinner. There are two seatings. one at 4:30 p.m. and the second at 6 p.m. Dinner is $8 per person, $7 for senior citizens, $ 6 for children or $ 30 per family. Proceeds will benefit the Stephen Ministry leadership training.
