4. The Sudbury Valley Trustees executive director Ron McAdow, who has been a novice birder for thirty years, will lead a group teaching beginners how to identify birds commonly seen in eastern Massachusetts, west of Boston. The group will take their skills out into the field and identify birds in the wild. 5. Make Mothers Day special this year by treating the important
women in your life to fabulous desserts while helping the fight against breast
cancer. During the week leading up to Mothers Day, May 2 – 8, more than 250
restaurants, bakeries, cafés and chocolate shops throughout Massachusetts will
participate in Boston Bakes for Breast Cancer, including . Through Mothers Day,  Sunday, May 8, the pastry chef at Halfway Café will bake a unique dessert to put on the menu. Desserts start at $3 and 100 percent of sales will benefit breast cancer research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Just ask your server about it!
