BGCMW Kicks Off 80th Anniversary with Induction Breakfast

Honoring Decades of Making a Difference in Our Youth

The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest (BGCMW) is proud to announce its 80th anniversary of providing a safe and nurturing environment for children of all backgrounds to thrive. For eight decades, BGCMW has empowered countless young people to reach their full potential and pursue their dreams.

Since its inception, BGCMW has served as a cornerstone for MetroWest youth. The organization's impactful programs and dedicated staff have fostered a space where children can learn, grow, and develop valuable life skills. Many BGCMW alumni credit their experiences at the Club with shaping their lives and opening doors to a brighter future.

To commemorate this milestone anniversary, BGCMW will host its annual induction breakfast celebration on Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at 7:30AM, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Marlborough. The event will feature an induction ceremony into the BGCMW Hall of Fame, honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to the organization and the youth it serves. The 2024 inductees are William Parks, Jeff Stupik, Ken Vonasek, Gayle Vonasek, and the Ron Young Memorial Award Recipient, Paul Connor.

The Hall of Fame inductees represent a diverse group of community members who have selflessly dedicated their time and resources to BGCMW's mission. These individuals, many of whom are alumni or long-time supporters, exemplify the positive impact the Club can have on a person's life.

BGCMW is also calling on all past members and supporters to share their cherished memories as the club creates a video celebrating its rich history. Photos, newspaper clippings, and even short video testimonials are all welcome to capture the essence of the club's impact on its members. These will be showcased at the Annual Gala celebration on October 17th at the Verve Hotel in Natick.
