“Today’s awardees are proof that here in Massachusetts, we are a state that shows up when people are hungry or hurting,” said Lt. Gov. Driscoll. “This award is reflection of both their personal commitment to their communities and the Girl Scout’s emphasis on service as a cornerstone of leadership. Congratulations to all of today’s incredible volunteers!”
There are three award levels based on age and the number of hours earned. Those included bronze, silver, gold and the highest honor, which is the Lifetime Achievement Award for those who contributed more than 4,000 hours of service.
