Boys and Girls Club Offers 'Money Matters' Program to local Preteens

Students get an education outside the classroom at the local nonprofit.

Each Wednesday, 11 preteens dive into Money Matters; an after school program offered by the .

The Money Matters program teaches financial responsibility and independence among Club members in grades 6 and up. Participants learn how to manage a checking account, create a budget, save and invest, start a small business and pay for college.
