MARLBOROUGH, MA — Drivers in the Marlborough area will run into closures over three nights this week at the intersection of I-290 and I-495, according to MassDOT.

The ramp from I-290 eastbound to I-495 northbound will be closed starting at 10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. The ramp will reopen each following day at 5 a.m.

"This temporary overnight ramp closure during several nights is necessary to allow crews and contractors to conduct construction operations safely and effectively," MassDOT said in a news release.

The closures are weather-dependent, and it's possible they could be postponed during an approaching nor'easter.
