Closing: Ramp From I-290 To I-495 In Marlborough
MassDOT will be back working on the I-290 and I-495 intersection on Tuesday and Wednesday.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Construction is back at the intersection of I-290 and I-495 in Marlborough, and that means overnight closures.
The ramp from I-290 eastbound to I-495 northbound (exit 32A) will close at 10 p.m. on both Tuesday and Wednesday nights, reopening each following day at 5 a.m.
"During the overnight work, drivers traveling on I-290 eastbound looking to access I-495 northbound will be directed to take I-495 southbound and use exit 63A (Route 20 eastbound)," MassDOT said of the detour during the closures.

Construction crews will be continuing to work on a project to improve the interchange. In 2022, MassDOT began widening ramps, resurfacing pavement and widening a short section of I-495 at the interchange.
The work this week is weather-dependent.
