Cocaine Trafficking Charges: Marlborough Grand Jury Indictments

One Marlborough-related case was announced by the Middlesex DA.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan announced Thursday the grand jury indictments from April 24 and May 29.

This included one Marlborough related case:

Alvaro Lopez, 25, of Marlborough, was charged with trafficking over 18 grams of cocaine, violating a restraining order, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. The Assistant District Attorney is Mary F.P. O’Neill.

Lopez was pulled over by Marlborough police last October on Frye Street after an officer spotted Lopez and knew his license was suspended, reports the MetroWest Daily News. The officer followed him, pulled him over, and found a digital scale and a bag of cocaine in his waist.
