Early-Morning Marlborough Fire Results In Total Loss: Report

MARLBOROUGH, MA - The Marlborough Fire Department battled a vicious blaze early Sunday morning to no avail, according to the Community Advocate.

The fire at 230 Standish Dr. resulted in no injuries, as the family had time to evacuate their home. The house and two vehicles were lost completely. The fire was reported around 10 a.m., and the street was blocked off as multiple crews tried to contain it.

Emergency responders evaluated one firefighter as a precaution, but he was able to return to duty. The fire is currently under investigation by the Marlborough Fire Department.
