Early Voting Starts In Marlborough: What To Know

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough kicked off a week of early voting over the weekend, giving residents the chance to cast a ballot before Election Day on Nov. 7.

This week's early voting will take place at Marlborough City Hall, 140 Main St. The voting began on Saturday, but paused Sunday. About 90 voters cast a ballot on Saturday, City Clerk Steve Kerrigan said.

  • Monday — 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday — 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday — 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Thursday — 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Friday — 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The deadline to register to vote ahead of the Nov. 7 election was Friday. Voters still have until Tuesday to apply for a mail-in ballot. The last day to apply in-person for an absentee ballot is Nov. 6.

In 2023, Marlborough voters are picking a new mayor in a race between city councilors Samantha Perlman and Christian Dumais. There are also five competitive city council races for At-Large, and the Ward 2, 4, 6 and 7 seats. The Ward 6 race is wide open with incumbent Sean Navin running for an at-large seat in 2023.
