Fire Crews Respond to Garage Fire on Turner Ridge Road

The Marlborough Fire Department responded near the Sudbury line late Friday evening and quickly put down a residential fire.

Shortly after 9 p.m. Friday evening, the responded to a 911 emergency call pertaining to a structure fire on Turner Ridge Road, close to the Sudbury line. 

Scanner traffic reported that heavy fire was showing from the second floor above a garage attached to a home on the lower portion of the street. 

As of that time, scanner reports indicated that fire crews were making "good progress" on the scene.

Shortly after 11 p.m. there were no emergency crews or fire apparatus on scene, and there were no easily visible signs that there had been a fire, save some running water at the base of the driveway. 

The deputy fire chief on duty was unavailable to comment as of this post.
