Marlborough is part of an area covered by a freezing rain advisory, according to the National Weather Service. The advisory is in effect through 11 a.m. Monday.
Cold air from northern New England continues to drain southward into northeast Worcester, Middlesex and Essex counties.
This could result in periods of light freezing rain and or drizzle Sunday night into Monday morning.
The cold air could reach the Mass Pike and Route 128 corridors, so a "low risk" of freezing rain is in place across this area.
