Ghost Light Players Perform in Marlborough

The group will perform "The Woman in Black" in the days before Halloween.

MARLBOROUGH, MA – Ghost Light Players of MetroWest is preparing to entertain and terrify its audience this Halloween season. They will be performing The Woman in Black, a ghostly tale adapted by Stephen Mallatratt from the book by Susan Hill the Thursday, Friday and Saturday before Halloween. Due the nature of this story Ghost Light Players will only perform evening performances with each show commencing at 8:00 p.m.

The chilling tale takes place in a small Victorian Theater. Using the play within a play format the story of Arthur Kipps’ visit to the small rural town of Crythin Gifford, England unfolds. What transpired in and around that visit has haunted Arthur ever since and he seeks to exercise his old haunts and fears by telling his tale to his family and loved ones, hiring a young professional actor to help him. Will Arthur achieve his goal and exercise his ghosts? Come see his chilling tale and find out!

Performance Dates: October 27, 28 & 29 at 8 p.m.

Price of Admission: Adults: $15; Senior Citizens & Children: $12.
