New 'Family Edutainment Center' Now Open In Former Sears Store
The new Hey Kiddos facility at the Solomon Pond Mall offers 26,000 square-feet of activities.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — A large new center for family entertainment will soon hold its grand opening at the Solomon Pond Mall.
Hey Kiddo’s Playtime — billed as a "family edutainment center" — is open now, offering kids between ages 1 and 12 a variety of play and learning activities inside a 26,000 square-foot space.
Hey Kiddo's offers a variety of play areas broken up by age. Each space features age-appropriate toys and play equipment. The center also offers classes and hosts children's birthday parties. There's even a parents' lounge with WiFi and coffee drinks.

The center will hold a grand opening ceremony on Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. with a ribbon cutting. Parents can reserve play spaces now on the Hey Kiddo's website. The facility is located inside a part of the former Sears store on the north side of the mall. The entrance is near the Regal Cinemas move theater.
