Gravel Spill In Marlborough Closes I-495 Lanes

MassDOT warned drivers about slowdowns due to the spill during the Monday commute.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Drivers using I-495 through Marlborough experienced slowdowns Monday morning due to a gravel spill.

The spill had closed the right and center lanes of the highway near exit 65, which is the interchange with I-290. The lanes were reopened by 10 a.m., MassDOT said.

The agency did not immediately report any injuries related to the incident.
