Here's When Marlborough's Memorial Beach, Pools Open In 2023

Splash pads are open in Marlborough, but pools, beaches and boat launches open later.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Swimming season is back for the summer in Marlborough.

Marlborough Recreation on June 12 will open World War II Memorial Beach along Causeway Street for the 2023 season, offering residents a fresh water swimming option. The wading pools at Ward Park and Farrell Park have tentative opening dates of June 22.

The splash pads at Ghiloni and Stevens parks are already open for the 2023 season. The Hixson boat launch is also open, but only on weekends.

Memorial Beach will be open every day this summer from 11 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. (the parking lot opens at 10:45 a.m.), except Aug. 28 to Sept. 1. The beach is free for city residents, but $20 for nonresidents.

Memorial Beach is located close to Centennial Beach in Hudson, which opened for the season on June 5.
