Hosting Opportunity through Marlborough High School

Marlborough High School has partnered with gphomestay to bring international students to our school for the 2016-2017 school year! We are looking for Marlborough families that are interested in the rewarding experience of hosting!

Start and end dates are late August 2016 to early June 2017, respectively. The ideal host family will have a student attending Marlborough High School for the 2016-2017 school year, will primarily speak English at home and has time in their schedule to interact and share their American and family culture with the student.

The host family will need to provide three meals a day, a private, furnished room, transportation to and from school and a safe, nurturing environment. A generous stipend of $1,000 per month for the academic year will be provided to offset the costs of hosting. Families of all types, ethnicities, backgrounds and sizes are welcome.

Gphomestay provides ongoing support during a student’s stay, including 24/7 access to a support services coordinator, a conflict resolution team, respite care for family vacations and emergency situations, umbrella insurance for host families, medical insurance for all students, quarterly residential check-ins and local staff in the community.

For any families that are referred and approved, the referring party will receive a $300 referral bonus.
