I-495, I-290 Exit Closures In Marlborough, Hudson This Week
Drivers in the Marlborough area will encounter four nights of ramp closures starting Sunday.
MARLBOROUGH, MA — MassDOT will return to the Marlborough area this week for construction work, meaning several nights of exit ramp closures along I-290 and I-495.
The closures will take place overnight Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday along I-495 northbound and I-290 and Route 20. The closures will start and end at 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Here's what to expect, according to MassDOT:

- When the I-495 northbound (exit 63A) on-ramp from Route 20 eastbound is closed, traffic will be directed to follow the detour signs in place and use exit 63 B.
- When the I-495 northbound (exit 63B) on-ramp from Route 20 westbound is closed, traffic will be directed to follow the detour signs in place and use exit 63 A.
- When the I-495 northbound (exit 65B) ramp to I-290 westbound is closed, traffic will be direct to follow the detour signage in place and use exit 67 (Route 62).
- When the I-290 eastbound off-ramp (exit 32B) to I-495 northbound is closed, traffic will be directed to follow the detour signage in place and use exit 32 A.
Ramp closures will not happen simultaneously, MassDOT said.
