Johnson & Johnson Eyeing Boston Scientific: Reports
The Boston Scientific purchase would be about $52.7 billion.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—Johnson & Johnson, based in New Jersey, may be looking at Boston Scientific, the medical device producer located in Marlborough, according to reports.
A Wells Fargo analyst earlier this month said that "acquiring Boston Scientific or its competitor Edwards Lifesciences of California would make sense for the firm," reports the Worcester Business Journal.
Both acquisitions would help Johnson & Johnson tap into the growing heart valve market, and the Boston Scientific purchase would be about $52.7 billion.
