K9 Searches, Sniffs Around Marlborough High School

The high school held a canine search and safety drill for its students.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—A dog from the police department walked the hallways of Marlborough High School on Valentine's Day, part of the high school's ongoing commitment to its health and safety plan.

The K9 searched for the presence of illegal substances throughout the high school.

The drill, conducted collaboratively with the Marlborough Police Department, went smoothly and was well received by students and staff, according to the announcement from the school, which did not report that anything illegal was found during the search.

“We want to reinforce the expectation that students are here to learn and responsibly participate in the community,” stated Charles Caliri, principal of Marlborough High School.
