MARLBOROUGH, MA — The final forum between the two Marlborough mayoral candidates will take place Wednesday on WMCT.

Marlborough's 2023 mayoral election is a contest between two candidates who would both make history if elected. Ward 3 Councilor Christian Dumais would be the city's first openly gay mayor, and At-Large Councilor Samantha Perlman would be the youngest woman to hold the seat.

Perlman and Dumais emerged from a four-way mayoral preliminary in October. Perlman was the top vote-getter at 1,787 with Dumais in second at 1,492.
