Linda Hanbury A True 'Marlborough Woman': Her Strength Defines Her
Patch and T-Mobile are partnering to shine a light on awesome moms in the Marlborough area. Meet Linda Hanbury!

MARLBOROUGH, MA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.
This submission comes from Sherry Leonard who nominated Linda Hanbury of Marlborough.
What makes your mom extra special?
Her unique personality and perseverance. She is a true "Marlborough woman" at heart, born at Marlborough Hospital before it was known as UMass. She attended Immaculate Conception schools in the 1960s, and worked at factories long ago.
She has seen many changes throughout the years, and is now living a quiet and peaceful life on East Main Street. She has seen and lived through the struggles of life, persevering through each obstacle until she was over the mountain.
This is what makes Linda — her strengths — and "not giving up the last hurrah," as she would say
Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?
A native Marlborough woman who has seen and been through quite a few changes throughout the years
Happy Mother's Day to Linda Hanbury, and thank you for all you do!
