Main I-495 Ramps In Marlborough, Westborough Closing For Work

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Two main I-495 off-ramps in Marlborough and Westborough will be partially closed this week during construction work.

The two closures will take place overnight from 10 p.m. Thursday until 5 a.m. Friday. The closures will affect drivers headed northbound exiting at Simarano Drive and those exiting southbound at Route 9 in Westborough.

Here are the detours, according to MassDOT:

• When the I-495 southbound (59B) off-ramp to Route 9 10 westbound in Westborough is closed, traffic will be directed to follow the detour signs in place and use exit 59A (Route 9 eastbound).
•  When the I-495 northbound (exit 62) off-ramp to Simarano Drive in Marlborough is closed, traffic will be directed to follow the detour signs in place and use exit 63B (Route 20 westbound).

The two closures follow one overnight Sunday that shut down the southbound side of the West Main Street ramp in Hopkinton.
