Man Charged With Assaulting Pregnant Woman
A Marlborough man has been accused of dragging a pregnant woman by her hair.

Police have arrested a Marlborough man after he allegedly dragged a pregnant woman across the ground by her hair.
“The officers arrived and spoke with the female who reported that Hendrick punched her in the side of the face and then dragged her across the ground by her hair in an attempt to bring her into the vehicle," said Marlborough Police Det. Scott DeCiero.
Police had been called to the scene after a witness saw the man pulling the woman towards the vehicle and intervened, according to police. That is when the man — later identified as Hendrick Davis, 30, of 450 Boston Post Road East Apt. A511 — left the scene without the woman, said DeCiero. Police began looking for the car and the man.
