The 44-year-old was accused of aggravated rape of a child earlier this year.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A Marlborough man has pleaded guilty in a sexual assault case involving his own teenage daughter, which led to her becoming pregnant, according to the Middlesex District Attorney’s office. He will spend the next 12 to 15 years in prison.

The 44-year-old man pleaded guilty to the charge of aggravated rape of a child, the DA's office said Thursday. Patch is withholding his name to protect the victim's identity.

According to a news release from the DA's office, the man and the 14-year-old victim were living in the same hotel shelter in Marlborough between September 2023 and May 2024 when the hotel and the victim’s school grew concerned that she was pregnant.

"Those samples were sent to a forensic testing laboratory, and on January 24, 2025, it was determined that not only was the defendant the biological father of the victim, it was also twenty-three trillion times more likely than not, that he was the biological father of the victim’s baby," the DA's news release said.

He was sentenced to 12 to 15 years in prison on Friday.
