Mark Vital To Serve As Executive Director Of Addiction Referral Center In Marlborough
The center works to help those suffering from substance use disorders and regain their independence.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A city councilor in Marlborough will now lead a local nonprofit focused on helping those with addiction.
Mark Vital, 64, a lifelong Marlborough resident and civic leader, is the executive director of the Addiction Referral Center, the nonprofit announced on Monday.
In addition to serving as a city councilor, Vital has over 25 years of experience teaching at Marlborough High School and Advanced Math and Science Academy, and is the founder of the nonprofit Sweats for Vets, which supports homeless veterans.

The center at 32 Main St. works to help those suffering from substance use disorders and regain their independence.
"I am honored to join the Addiction Referral Center and contribute to its important work in the community," Vital said. "Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families impacted by addiction, helping them to achieve recovery and self-sufficiency."
