Marlborough 2023 Election Full Results: Dumais Mayor, Navin Lands At-Large Seat
See the unofficial results in Marlborough's 2023 election, including some new faces on the city council.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough has elected city councilor J. Christian Dumais as the city's next mayor in a historic election to replace retiring Mayor Arthur Vigeant, according to unofficial results.
Dumais won the mayoral race in a reversal of the October preliminary, where At-Large Councilor Samantha Perlman came out in first place by almost 300 votes.
Dumais, Marlborough's first openly gay mayor, won't be the only candidate taking a new seat next year. Mark Vital and Robert Preciado won ward seats in uncontested races and Albert Fuccillo won the open Ward 6 race.

"By addressing the housing crisis, stimulating economic growth, and standing up to big developers, he is ready to protect Marlborough’s small-city charm while achieving its potential," Fuccillo said in a statement Tuesday.
