MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough's 2023 election is shaping up to be one of the most consequential in years.
For the first time in a decade, there's an open race for mayor with Mayor Arthur Vigeant stepping down at the end of the year. There are also five competitive city council races for At-Large, and the Ward 2, 4, 6 and 7 seats. The Ward 6 race is wide open with incumbent Sean Navin running for an at-large seat in 2023.

How old will you be as of Election Day? 65
Education: Bachelors of Science, Masters of Public Health and courses for a Masters in Public Administration
What is your occupation? Board of Health Agent
Do you have a family? If so, please tell us about them. Three adult children who attended Marlborough local schools and all have attended college. Their professions are an Occupational Therapist, a Registered Dietitian and a Health Inspector
Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
To represents the residents of Marlborough with continuous support for our schools, elderly and environmental needs and appropriate growth.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
My campaign is self supported.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
The need for a city planner and employee retention. I will continue to support our schools, affordable housing for our community including affordable housing for our elderly and street repairs/ resurfacing.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
My commitment to our residents as a local ward City Councilor and as an At -Large City Councilor
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Always work together to make our community a better place to live and work.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I will continue to utilize my leadership skills and owe my allegiance to our voters.
