Marlborough Founders' Descendant Dies at 98

Janice R. (Bigelow) Parmenter, 98, formerly of Northborough, died Saturday July 2, 2011 at Wachusett Manor, Gardner. Parmenter's family was among those who originally settled Marlborough. Funeral services have already been held at the .

William “Billie” Roman, Jr., 26, of Shrewsbury formerly of Marlborough, died Monday, July 4, 2011 at UMASS Medical Center.Services were private.

Barbara M. (Hogan) Thomas, 87, died Monday, July 4, 2011 after a period of failing health. Services have already been held and the burial was at Evergreen Cemetery.

Carol A. (Brown) Renaud, 69, of Marlborough, died on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at UMASS Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester. Services have already been held.

Thelma (DiMaio) Giardina, 85, of Marlborough, died at home Wednesday, July 6, 2011 after several months of failing health. A funeral mass was held Saturday, July 9, and the burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery.

Marcel J. Meschini, 87, died Saturday July 9, 2011 surrounded by his family following a long period of failing health. His funeral, with full militay honors was held Thursday, July 8 in the . Burial was in the V.A. National Cemetery in Bourne.
