Marlborough Sets Opening Dates For Beach, Pools, Splash Pads

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Swimming season has arrived in Marlborough.

The Marlborough Recreation Department this week released the opening dates for Memorial Beach, splash pads and World War II Memorial Beach. They are as follows:

• Ghiloni Park splash pad — June 3
• Stevens Park splash pad — June 3
• Memorial Beach — June 10
• Ward Park wading pool — June 21 (tentative)
• Farrel Field wading pool — June 21 (tentative)
• Hixson Boat Lauch — June 22

Although there isn't one in Marlborough, the state Department of Conservation and Recreation will also open its pools and other aquatic facilities in June. See the dates and full list here.
