Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is depending on who the constituent is. To name a few: traffic and road repair. Public Safety staffing. A new Fire Station for response times. The elementary schools are at capacity. Lastly, balancing the need for new growth within the city to help pay for the budget and for the new school and fire station.

What sets you apart from other candidates seeking this position?

There are no other candidates running for mayor this term, and I’d like to think that reflects the confidence people have in the work I’ve done over the past year and a half. My hope is that residents recognize the progress we’ve made and are interested in seeing how I can continue to build on those accomplishments and advance the initiatives I am currently working on for the city.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

I intend to continue focusing on several key priorities, including construction of a new West Side Fire Station, development of a new elementary school, and ongoing road and infrastructure improvements. In addition, I plan to support other important capital projects, strengthen city department succession planning, and enhance the city’s communications and social media outreach to better engage with residents.

How does your experience prepare you for success in this position?

My six years of experience as a City Councilor, combined with my background as a small business owner and lifelong resident of Marlborough, have given me a deep understanding of our community’s needs and priorities. This experience has helped me make informed decisions that balance the interests of residents, local businesses, and those who come to Marlborough to work, ensuring that our city continues to thrive and grow.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself?

I am truly honored to represent such an incredible city. I have been to countless events, I also work Saturdays at my hair salon, this allows me to stay informed within the city. This is what I believe a Mayor should entail, being accessible, and I appreciate your feedback and constructive criticism while engaging during these events. I, and the dedicated team who help run the city are human and not perfect, however with input from the residents we can always be better with your feedback. I thank you all for the support, to run this city it takes a village and we are all in this village together.
