Marlborough Police Interrupt High Elevation Burglary, Arrest Pair
A Framingham man and a Grafton man were arrested after scaling an apartment building to break into a second-story apartment.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough police over the Memorial Day weekend arrested two men caught breaking into an upper-story apartment using a ladder and a balcony.
Police responded to the Stone Gate Apartments around 2:30 a.m. Sunday after a report of three men wearing masks breaking into an apartment through a balcony. Police arrived to witness the men cutting open a screen and trying to enter the apartment.
According to Marlborough police, the three burglars took a ladder from a van parked in the apartment complex to reach the balcony of the apartment.

Police arrested a 20-year-old Framingham man, a Franklin Street resident, after finding him hiding in a car. He was charged with unarmed burglary, conspiracy and receiving stolen property worth less than $1,200.
A second man, a 22-year-old Grafton resident, was caught running through the apartment complex. He was also charged with unarmed burglary, conspiracy and receiving stolen property worth less than $1,200.

The third member of the crew was able to escape without being arrested.
