Marlborough Public Schools Announces Child Find Efforts
Early childhood screening for children ages 3-4.

Marlborough, Mass.--Marlborough Public Schools is responsible for identifying, locating, and evaluating any children with known or suspected disabilities who reside within the school district’s boundaries to determine whether a need for special education and related services exists. All referrals are considered confidential, and services are provided at no cost. The parent, legal guardian, or surrogate parent retains the right to refuse services and are provided other procedural safeguards under federal and state law.
We would like to request your assistance in locating eligible children by helping to make the public aware
of the services that we offer. We ask that you please place the enclosed press release in the appropriate
section of your newspaper.

I would also like to request a copy of the newspaper for the date in which the article is published, as we
are required by federal law to track our Child Find efforts. Please mail the paper to my attention at the
