Marlborough Public Schools Destroy Student Records

The Marlborough Public School, Office of Special Education, will be destroying records of students born in the 1980s starting May 25.

From Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education: In accordance with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, 603 CMR 23.06 (3), the Marlborough Public Schools, Office of Special Education, will be destroying records of students born in the 1980’s. Per regulations they must notify you that, on Thursday, May 25, 2017, any of these special education records still in the possession of Marlborough Public Schools will be destroyed.

If you wish to receive the file, you will need to contact the Office of Special Education at 508-460- 3509, ext. 10124, prior to May 25th , to arrange a time to pick them up. They are located at the District Education Center, 17 Washington Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. A driver’s license must be presented at the time of picking up the records.
