This Marlborough School Was Named Top 25 In MA

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A school in Marlborough is one of the best high schools in the state, according to a new ranking.

Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School in Marlborough takes the 15th spot in the U.S. News & World Report's 2025-2026 rankings of the best public high schools in each state. The list, released Tuesday, includes specialized STEM and charter rankings alongside the traditional state, district and metro area categories.

Schools are chosen based on how they serve all students, including underserved populations, with college readiness specifically measured through student participation and performance on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams.

The No. 1 spot went to Boston Latin School, which is part of the Boston Public School district.
