Marlborough Schools Canceled In The Wake Of Heavy Snow Dumping
The school joins many across the state in canceling classes on Thursday.

MARLBOROUGH, MA—Marlborough public schools has canceled classes on Thursday.
The school district is among many across the area shutting down again in the wake of another major dumping of (heavy) snow on the region.
With an accumulation of 12 to 16 inches in "most of interior Massachusetts" a winter storm warning is in effect until 1 p.m. on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

According to NWS, "travel will be very difficult if not impossible. Tree branches and wires could fall. Near blizzard conditions possible at times late this evening and overnight across interior northeast Massachusetts. Snowfall rates of 1 to 3 inches during the height of the storm with thundersnow possible."
By early Thursday morning, more than 100,000 in the state had lost power.
