Marlborough Under Winter Weather Advisory, Morning Commute to be Difficult

The National Weather Service on Sunday night put Marlborough and surrounding areas under a Winter Weather Advisory, and cautioned drivers to use care in the morning commute due to an expected mix of ice and snow.

The accumulations will be slight, but enough to cause hazardous travel.

The area covered by the winter weather advisory includes northern Connecticut, much of Rhode Island and interior southeastern Massachusetts. A combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain is expected by daybreak, according to the National Weather Service.
