MetroWest Festival of Trees
Volunteers are still needed and entries are still being accepted for the Gingerbread House competition.
The Festival of Trees will open on Friday at 5 p.m. and runs through Sunday at the Royal Plaza Conference Center in Marlborough.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Pictured above is the 2012 blue ribbon winner in the gingerbread house competition. You can still enter — the Marlborough Historical Society is accepting late entries — and there's a competition at the event Saturday morning, too.
The event is the major fundraiser each year for the all-volunteer Historical Society.
